Oil in a screw compressor is its lifeblood—lubricating shafts, cooling mechanisms, and sealing high-pressure zones. Over time it degrades, becomes contaminated, and risks efficiency and mechanical wear. Clean oil = peak performance.

Discard old filters and separators. Clean sump and piping to remove sludge and residues
Drain oil cooler and pipelines to prevent cross-contamination of new oil
Use OEM-specified oil. Fill slowly to the proper sight glass level, minimizing air ingress
Install fresh filters and separators. Seal and return oil responsibly to recycling or waste streams .
Power the compressor, monitor pressure and check for leaks around filters and drains
Warm the compressor, then recheck oil level; top up if needed to remain within ¼ of sight glass marking
Oil is cooled via shell-and-tube exchangers, maintaining 40–65 °C—keeping viscosity in check
